Testimonial

"...I strongly endorse both Eric Stiegman and the kettlebell program for any training purpose and especially golf. I would not write this if I did not firmly believe in it. Eric is very skilled in teaching pupils the safe and effective use of kettlebells. There is no better strength and flexibility training program that I am aware of." ~ Philip Frazier

Winning Edge Kettlebells — "Feel" the Power!

How would you like 30 more yards off the tee, a strong-pain free back, improved strength, increased flexibility, and the stamina to make 18 holes a breeze? The answer to your golf fitness problems is right here, look no further and behold the Russian Kettlebell!

What is a Kettlebell?

The kettlebell is a traditional Russian cast iron weight that resembles a cannonball with a handle on top. It first appeared in the Russian dictionary in 1704 (Cherkikh, 1994). It was extremely popular in Tsarist Russia where a strongman or weightlifter was referred to as a girevik, or "a kettlebell man".

Who uses Kettlebells?

While kettlebells are not new to the United States, they have been resurrected in the last ten years and are now taking the country by storm! This resurgence began with hard living comrades in the military whose life depended on their strength. These days, people of all persuasions are using kettlebells to get fit. It is my mission to bring the kettlebell to the forefront as the single most effective training tool for greater golfing power and performance.

Kettlebells Deliver!

Kettlebell training is about seeking simplicity, not complexity. Today people are faced with an overwhelming number of choices to get fit. Swiss balls, medicine balls, dumbbells, barbells, exercise bands, and cardio equipment are just some of the equipment that dominate the current fitness scene. The kettlebell can replace all of these. The kettlebell is the ultimate, stand alone-tool for extreme all-around fitness. It doesn't require electricity, it doesn't take up much space, and they are readily transportable. One will be hard pressed to find a single tool that can simultaneously build all purpose strength and power, increase flexibility, burn fat, improve stamina, and increase cardiovascular health.

The Kettlebell Golfer

The body of a girevik or kettlebell lifter is characterized by broad shoulders with just a hint of pecs, a back of steel, wiry arms, rugged forearms, a chiseled midsection, and strong legs and hips. This is the ideal body for the golfer, allowing for good posture, dynamic flexibility, and explosive power. No bulky muscles that are all for show with no "go". Kettlebell training achieves a dense muscularity with the power to back it up! Learn more about how kettlebells can take your golf swing's power to the next level.
